Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In the prepared dish, combine uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Arrange chicken breasts evenly over the rice mixture. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.
  4. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C) and rice is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
